If the POTSBOX is connected to the ELTI port to a non-expandable Abilis (MicroAbilis C3, PicoAbilis, etc.), then there isn't needed to activate it. The POTS ports will operate automatically after connecting the POTSBOX. Refer to the following chapter: Section 3.11, “POTSBOX connection”.

Example: If you have BSE17 4-2-32 where the number of POTS on-board is 2 it result that the first port of POTSBOX is CTIP:103 for Abilis.

The max number of POTSBOX is 12 (Up to 4 for each POTSHUB). The number of physical ports assigned for one POTSBOX is 32, even if we will use a POTSBOX with fewer ports 4,8.12 or 24. The not installed ports will appear as "Not running" and may be deactivated and hidden using the S INACT CTIP:xxx command. |
