To replace a ADSL modem with ADSL2+ modem is needed to change the
USBPORTID parameter. This change is necessary because
the modem ADSL2+ work with USB2.0.
| s dev:dslusb-1 usbportid:none | Cancel the usbportid (e.g. DSLUSB-1 device). |
| init usbdev | Initialization of USB devices. |
| save conf | Save the configuration. |

The command init usbdev must be typed after replacing of modem. |

If you are connected remotely to ABILIS through this ADSL line, it is better to restart the ABILIS instead of initialize the device, please refer to: Section 78.10, “How to automatically reassign the USBPORTID”. |
