15.1. ADSL/VDSL Ethernet modem

ADSL/VDSL Ethernet modem enables Abilis to connect to an ADSL/VDSL line without installing any additional router. Each modem can be connected to only one ADSL/VDSL line.

ADSL/VDSL Ethernet modem is a device with an ADSL/VDSL interface and an Ethernet interface that can work in transparent bridge.

Ethernet modem limitations:

  • Multiple VPI/VCI are not possible;

  • PPPoA or IPoA routed are not possible.

The default IP address is 192.168.168.168/28.

The supervision must be done using ETHMOD resource.
