59.5. Address book

The Address book allows you to save your contacts and easily access to them.

This button opens a pop-up window like the following one:

It's the list of saved contacts. You can search a contact filling the textbox.

59.5.1. Add new contacts

This button opens a pop-up windows, where users can add new contact:

To add a new contact fill the fields and click on Submit.

  • Type: It can be Private or Public:

    • Private: The contact is visible only in your address book. The other users can't see it.

    • Public: All the users can see this contact in their address book.

  • Name: The name you see in the address book. When the contact calls yourself, you see his name instead of his number.

  • OutDial: The prefix to put before the number when you call it. (This field is optional)

  • Number: The number to assign to the contact.

  • Mail: The mail is used to send a email to the contact. (This field is optional)

  • Tag: The tag to assign to the contact. (This field is optional)

59.5.2. Edit contacts

This button opens a pop-up window, where users can edit the selected contact:.

Remember to click on Submit to save your changes.

59.5.3. Remove contacts

This button deletes the selected contact.

A confirmation window will appear. Click on Yes if you are sure to delete the contact.

59.5.4. Call

Call the selected contact.

Call-try: Use the Call-try function on the selected contact.

This button opens a pop-up window that lets you write and send a SMS to the selected contact.

59.5.6. Public/Private contacts

The contacts are divided into two groups:

  • Private contact: The contact is visible only in your address book. The other users can't see it.

  • Public contact: All the users can see this contact in their address book.

The "Show contacts" is used to choose what type of contacts to be displayed.

59.5.7. Import/Export address book

This button opens a pop-up window, where users may import or export all the private contacts of the address book.

  • Export: download the private contacts in a CVS format.

  • Import: upload a CVS file compatible with the specifications displayed on the screen.

    [Warning]Warning

    If you import your contacts, all the private contacts on the Abilis will be lost. It's recommended to have a backup copy.
